My continuous research is to understand inevitable consequences from global changes and sustain our precious biological resources. This ranges from the ecosystem’s microbial communities to their roles and interrelationships of diverse microorganisms that form and interact with complex environmental factors. It is my intention to explore the symbiotic relations and patterns of the microbial community structures in relation to biogeochemical cycle. Now, I am a current PhD student in Botany at the University of British Columbia, Vancouver, in the lab of Dr. Laura Parfrey. My research focuses on associated bacteria and their interactions with hosts and environment.
